Angel Tree

Angel Tree Christmas™ is a national outreach program that connects children with their incarcerated parents through gifts, a personal message of love and the gospel. Our church participated in the Angel Tree ChristmasTM program this Christmas season and sponsored 400 children—a 7% increase from 2023!

While Angel Tree Christmas™ is a national outreach program, we also had an opportunity to make a difference locally. We are grateful to partner with Doing Battle Ministries, an organization serving reservations in South Dakota. Through this partnership, we sponsored 70 children across two Native American reservations, ensuring that children in these communities also feel loved and valued this Christmas.

Volunteers from all our campuses took the time to make phone calls to the caretakers, explaining the program, verifying information and gathering gift ideas. But it didn’t stop there—every phone call ended with a powerful offer of prayer. We were humbled and encouraged to hear that almost all of the caretakers welcomed the opportunity to pray!

We are reminded that Angel Tree Christmas™ is more than just presents. It’s about providing emotional and spiritual support to families who need it most. Volunteers will not only wrap the gifts but will also personally deliver them to the homes, offering additional prayer and extending a warm Christmas invitation to church. It’s a tangible reminder that no one is forgotten, no matter the circumstances.
