Midweek
Kids midweek is dedicated to providing engaging, unique experiences that help children grow in Biblical literacy and influence, shaping how they understand God, themselves and the world around them. This program is 10 weeks long and runs alongside our Fall and Winter Adult Core Group season.
JBQ - Junior Bible Quiz
JBQ is a program designed to help children memorize God’s Word in a fun, team environment. Not only will your child’s IQ for God’s Word increase, but so will their love for it. Your child may have the opportunity to compete against other kids around the state and the nation. Registration opens each fall and the season runs through the end of spring.
Club45
Club45 is a program designed just for the 4th and 5th graders of our Kids Ministry. If your child is hungry to grow as a Godly leader, serve the church and meet new friends, then Club45 is for them! Sign ups open each fall and the program runs through the end of spring.
Child Dedications
Child Dedications are a meaningful opportunity for parents to commit to raising their child to know and follow Jesus, while inviting their church family to partner with them in prayer, support and encouragement.

Camp

Kids Christmas Musical
The River Valley Kids Christmas Musical is one of our favorite traditions each year! Kids ages six through fifth grade are invited to be part of an unforgettable Christmas experience filled with music, joy and the true meaning of Christmas. Registration and rehearsals begin in August each year.

Over the course of 10 weeks, your child will deepen their relationship with Jesus and take meaningful steps toward discovering their purpose in God’s plan. FAQ
Each of our campuses have Kids Ministry available during every weekend service. You can find information on locations, service times and our campus Kids Pastor teams “here.”
We prioritize safety in River Valley kids and have security present at all times. All persons entering the environments are either serving as a volunteer or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all volunteers are background and reference checked before they serve. You will see each volunteer wears a yellow name tag to identify they have been cleared to serve. Each of our classrooms has room ratios to ensure the safety of the specific ages.
River Valley Kids is broken up into three age ranges: Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years old), Preschool (3 to 5 years old) and Elementary (6 years to 5th grade).
When arriving to River Valley Kids, you will register your family at the Family Registration desk, where team members can assist you. You will then check-in your child at a check-in station and print off their name tags. You will receive two name tags, one for your child to wear and one for pick-up after service. It is important you keep your child’s pick-up receipt, as that is a security measure we take to ensure all pick-ups are safe! A team member will then show you to your child’s classroom, where they will be checked into that particular classroom.

In our preschool and elementary rooms, your child will dive deep into Bible stories through a variety of large group lessons, games, discussions with leaders and prayer time. We believe in the next generation and our greatest joy is to grow and go together!
Summer Camp is a special experience for kids entering 3-6th grade each summer. Kids will encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and build meaningful friendships - all while having fun! Each year, registration and details are shared in early spring. This year, camp is June 22-25.
