ONE DAY to FEED the WORLD
Here’s the reality:
Nearly one-third of the world’s population is moderately or severely food insecure. This means a child dies every 10 seconds from malnutrition. In low or middle-income countries, 100 million children are going hungry each day.*
By participating in the One Day to Feed the World campaign, we can possibly help change those statistics. And we can demonstrate to our community that we are not content with simply feeling compassionate — we are committed to live in kindness and generosity to help others.
One of the best ways to do that is by giving one day’s wage to organizations who make it their mission to physically and spiritually feed those who live in moderate to severe food deprivation. It’s about equal sacrifice, not equal giving.
In 2023, River Valley Church committed to join the special worldwide campaign in partnership with Convoy of Hope. We asked our community to give their "One Day’s Wage" to help end hunger, and the response was overwhelming.
In our first year alone, we gave away over $1 million. The total since then has grown to $2,660,993.50, directly supporting 13 organizations that feed the hungry in our own backyard and around the globe.

This May, we are looking forward to challenging ourselves individually and collectively to give our one day’s wage to help FEED THE WORLD! Join us on May 16 & 17 as we give to help end hunger locally and around the world.
In partnership with over a dozen organizations, your generosity provides regular nutritious meals, clean drinking water, education and training, and most importantly, the gospel, to those in greatest need.
Through our partners, every $1 given has the ability to provide approximately 5 meals to those without them.
Your ONE DAY can transform their EVERY DAY!
This September, we are challenging everyone to give one day’s wage to help FEED THE WORLD!
Join us on September 7 & 8 as we give to help end hunger around the world through partnerships with various feeding programs and organizations.
In partnership with a number of organizations, your generosity provides regular nutritious meals, clean drinking water, education and training, and most importantly, hope, to those who need it most!
Every $10 given provides a child with nutritious school meals for a month.
Through another partner, $100 supplies 2 families (10 people) with a 1 month supply of essentials like rice, eggs, meat, milk and corn.
And through yet another partner, $4,500 provides nutrient rich meals to a village for a year!

What started as a spark of generosity in 2025 has the potential to become a movement of purpose-driven leadership. Last year, visionary business owners and medical practitioners within our community decided to bridge the gap between their work and their faith by dedicating a day of proceeds to One Day to Feed the World.
These leaders didn't just run a business; they shared their hearts, inspired their teams and directly fueled The Great Commission.
To honor this commitment, Kingdom Builders awards a custom-designed commemorative plaque to participating locations—a symbol of your dedication to global impact. We celebrated our first two recipients last year, and for 2026, our vision is to see dozens of these plaques displayed in storefronts and clinics across the Twin Cities.
