21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
Every year at River Valley, we begin the year together with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. This intentional time creates space for God to move in powerful ways, bringing clarity and breakthrough in our lives. It helps re-center our hearts on what matters most and aligns us with God’s purposes for the year ahead. As we seek Him together, we believe God will do amazing things—not only in our personal lives, but throughout our church community as well.
Each week we’ll focus on one of these topics:
- How to Pray
- How to Hear God
- Why We Fast
This is for everyone! Kids will receive a bracelet to wear during 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting to remind them to pray everyday! Youth will be following along in the River Valley app and posting content weekly on the River Valley YTH Instagram.
Our SOAP Sprint is back this year. This is an opportunity to read through the entire New Testament in the month of January. Let’s do this together!

- Online: Zoom
Participate in an all-day fast every Tuesday (January 6, 13 and 20) throughout the 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting.
Join us for a church-wide Worship Night on Sunday, January 25, happening across all of our campuses at 6pm, as we set aside devoted time for prayer and worship as a church family. We believe that one moment in the presence of God can change everything! No childcare provided.
