Our group focuses on the weekly sermon. We discuss it in more detail while looking for application ideas we can support each other in implementing. We also look at the sermon through the lens of the annual vision message as we seek the direction Pastor Rob has received for our benefit. There is little to no homework, other than any action items you feel led to implement in your life. Oh yeah, and the snacks are epic too!

God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle small groups. This 13-week grief recovery seminar and support group is a video seminar series that features Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Biblical perspective.
