If this is your next step, we’d love to celebrate with you at an upcoming baptism.

At River Valley, we believe water baptism is an outward sign of an inward change and an act of obedience in your relationship with Jesus. If you have questions about baptism or would like to know about what we believe check out our Common Questions below.

Common Questions

Baptism for Adults & Students (Age 12 and Older)

We hold baptism services about 4 times per year across River Valley campuses. Fill out the form below for more information about your campus’ next water baptism.

Baptism for Kids (Ages 7-11)

We want to make sure your kids understand what baptism is (and isn’t) and why it’s important. If your child has made the decision to follow Jesus and wants to be baptized, we encourage you and your child to take our Baptism Milestone Class together. We invite you to find more details for an upcoming class at your campus by clicking the button below.

Baptism for Kids Under 7

River Valley prefers children under the age of seven wait to be water baptized. We have baptized children younger than seven, after a short conversation with a pastor to make sure the child truly understands the meaning of being water baptized. If you are interested in this, please email baptism@rivervalley.org to set up a time for you, your son/daughter and a pastor to meet.

We at River Valley also encourage parents with infants or young children to consider Child Dedication. This is a moment in our services where parents formally call upon God’s blessing for their child and publicly commit to raise him or her in faith. You can find more details on the next available dedication service by clicking the button below.
