Serve Our Community
River Valley Church’s Community Serving exists to go out beyond our four walls to care for and serve our communities through relational ministry. We want to share the love of Jesus through our partnerships, generous giving and practical use of our talents and time. We’d love to connect with you! Contact email@example.com with any questions or for more information.
Street Teams are a powerful opportunity to meet people where they are at, whether that is playing with kids in the park, serving the homeless or even just bringing some joy to those on the bus lines. Serve with us on the Friday(s) that work for you. If you don’t see your campus listed, choose the one closest to you!Apple Valley City Maple Grove Woodbury

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Wrap Around Team?
A Wrap Around team is a group of 6 or more people that support the family through the transition of the entire placement. Team members can identify their preferred roles: providing meals, babysitting, assisting with housework, providing prayer, emotional support, random needs, providing financial or material sponsorship, and short-term or long-term respite care.
Who can be part of the Wrap Around Team?
Any adult is welcome to be part of the Wrap Around Team. All team members need to have cleared background checks and go through the training provided by Together For Good.
When does the Wrap Around Team help?
The time commitment for practical needs like food or housework usually translates to once every 4th week with a full team, and other needs of spiritual and emotional support are largely done through cards and texts. There will be a team lead within the Wrap Around Team who will be a liaison between Together For Good, River Valley Church, the team and the family receiving support. You can decide your involvement as needs come in.
What is the financial commitment to be part of The Wrap Around Team?
Our simple answer would be “minimal.” You may need to consider budgeting for gas or a meal but all other needs can be supplied through local partners or team members who chose to be financial or material sponsors.
How will I know when there is a need?
You will receive a message from your team lead and or Together For Good.
When is the next training?
The next informational meeting is on July 17 and the next training dates are August 6 and August 16!
